Just moved here from Illinois. We were hungry for Italian food. The service was great. The lasagna was super. The chicken Francesca was to die for. We will be back over and over. The prices were very reasonable.

We moved here from Dallas, TX a couple of years ago. My family brought me to Giovanni's and we have been coming here ever since. Having so many family run Italian dining places in Dallas to choose from, I believe this place is the best.

Authentic, prices will not break the bank, friendly service and the family that owns it, are great to order from....If you want a little something extra or different from the menu, no problem with this place!!! Best wishes for many days ahead...

This is REAL Italian food, folks! You may wait a few minutes while your dinner is cooking, but so what?? You needn't be in such a hurry! This is not fast food. This is REAL dining....like in Europe. This is not the Olive Garden....thank God. Giovanni's is my favorite restaurant within 500 miles. Sauces divine, pasta cooked al dente to perfection. And the veal! All the food is fresh and made to order, just like food should be. We go there often because it reminds us of Europe and the lifestyle there.

The only person that gave this restaurant a bad review must have been paid by jealous competition. If it actually was a real review which I doubt, those people just need to take their tribe of kids to Mickey D's and fuggedaboudit! Giovanni"s is the place to go for great authentic Italian food. Thank you Giovanni for making our little family happy with your culinary talents!!

We drove all the way from Southern Illinois to eat here!!!Best Italian food I've eaten in a long time. Great place to eat, staff is very nice. Check it out after a game or for a family dinner. You won't be disappointed!!!

Been going for years! Best Italian in Maryville-- you'd be hard pressed to find better in Knoxville! Great service-- FANTASTIC food!

This is the only authentic Italian food in the Maryville , Alcoa area.People who love Olive Garden probably won't like it. It is so good and the owner and his daughter, who is one of the chefs are awesome. It is a small place , with byob . Service isn't fast but it because they are making fresh homemade food to order. If you know real Italian food when you see it, go to Giovanni's!

Authentic family-run Italian restaurant. This is the Olive Garden, no phoney recipes out of a can here. I have been to Italy and could not find anything close. Many others with Italian heritage have said it's "just like home."

The place is small, but most the best restaurants are. The atmosphere is not fancy, it's just like any other locally owned and operated restaurant. You will not better Italian in this area.

We have enjoyed Giovanni's on many occasions. It is family owned and operated, where after a few visits you feel like family coming home for dinner. We have tried several entrees including the Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan, and salads, along with desserts and drinks. Yes it may be crowded at times, but who wants to eat at a place where they have no business? I have told all our friends about this little place tucked away in Maryville.

Went to Giovanni's last night for some good Italian food. Well ... to start they only had one highchair for the whole place which was being used so luckily I had a booster in my car to use. The wait to get our drink order taken was ridiculous. I ordered Manicotti ... it was the saltiest Manicotti I have ever had! Almost too salty to eat. They also had no kids menu. The space is so tiny you feel like you are packed in the restaurant like little sardines. I can't believe they are still in business. I know that I am not going back.

I ordered Veal Rockefeller and sauteed mushrooms delivered to my hotel room. The food was delicious. The delivery was prompt, and all employees were very competent and courteous. I plan to eat here soon, and highly recommend Giovanni's.

A great family owned and run Italian restaurant. Friendly with good authentic food made (so they told us) with family recipes! They even have lunch specials!

We have always enjoyed our visits there.
