The food is good, especially love the cornbread salad.... Problem is that every time without fail they are out of something on the menu. Last time I was there they were out of the cornbread salad 😗😣... Bummer. Once my husband asked for a banana split. They came out and told him they were out of pineapple, then came back and said they were out of wet nuts, then came out and announced they were out of bananas and offered to run across the street and get some. My husband said that was ok, he would just have a bananaless split. Ended up being a chocolate sundae. Still got charged for a banana split.

Excellent food, quanity, quality and service! Especially love the family style days! Wonderful chicken, meatloaf and roast beef! My husband says the country ham cant be beat. And if you've never had cornbread salad, it's a must have! A little out of the edge of town but well worth it, cost and quality! Nanny's is a locals secret that shouldnt be a secret!
