03/23/2010 - Z.K.
The food is amazing, the portions are great and the people are always friendly. Big D's really has hometown "best kept secret" kinda thing going on. It's a nice change from all the local chains. Long Live Big D's! Also, try the Cowboy Pie. It's delicious.
02/27/2010 - Hungry Ass Fella
I drove by this place on my way to Jacksboro to visit a friend and wanted to try this place out because I was tired of eating at corporate chain restaurants. The moment I stepped out of the car the smell made me even more hungrier. The service provided by Darryl the owner by far exceeds my expectations which was none. I've never ate at this place before and he gave me 2 slices of brisket to try out. The brisket was so tender that it literally fell outta my hands. The prices are very reasonable with huge portions of food. I ordered the Brisket sandwhich and after eating It put me into a food coma. It was so good. I'm definitely coming back here next time. This spot gets my vote that it should be known on travel channel. I was in BBQ heaven it was so damn good. For anyone that is coming for the Dallas/Ft Worth area....forget McDonalds, or Burger King. It will be worth it.
