Two months ago I moved to Utica as a lateral transfer with my job, I ha never been here before so I asked someone where was a good bagel shop in the area. He mentioned the Bagel Grove. I went there mainly because I was planning a welcome meeting for my staff. I tried their Lox bagel. To be honest the sandwich was not impressive at all!!! The bagel it self was chewy, the salmon portion was inadequate and it was way overpriced. Even in NYC where I am from they do not charge $14.00 for a Lox Bagel. So being that I am not from here I was under the impression they were the only bagel shop in the area. I went back and figured I would play it safe and get a ham and cheese bagel or something else simple. I showed up there on a Monday. Would you believe they were closed??? Who closes a bagel shop on a MONDAY? The busiest day of the week for office people who are looking for bagels and coffee? Frustrated, I called another staff member and he mentioned Willie's!!! Let me tell you something!!!! OUTSTANDING!!!! THE BAGELS ARE PHENOMENAL! THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE!!! THE BAGELS HAVE THAT NYC DELI FLAVOR AND THE STAFF IS MORE THAN FRIENDLY!!!! AND GUESS WHAT???? THEY ARE OPEN ON MONDAYS!!!!!!! WILLIES' YOU HAVE EARNED THE BUSINESS OF THE COMPANY I WORK AND MINE AS WELL!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND WE WILL SEE YOU SOON!!! THANK YOU...AND THE COFEE IS AWESOME TOO!!!!!

We LOVE Willies breakfast bagels! The eggs are REAL and the homemade bagels are so delicious, we love DD coffee but nobody beats Willies bagels!!
