loved the owners and the comfortable quiet dinning.
The filet special sounded great stuffed with cheese, spinach and sun dried tomatoes in a mushroom brandy sauce. Ordered it med rare came out right but the quality of the steak ruined the meal.... A filet should be tender and tasty. Spend the extra dollar a pound and buy choice it makes a HUGE difference.

The food was excellent. We went with two other couples. However, on a scale from one to 10, I would give it 7 for these reasons. There was one waitress for 7 to 10 tables making the service less than perfect. It wasn't the waitress's fault. The $7.00 martini I ordered was watery and rather insufficient for the price. I spoke to the owner about the drink after the meal and got very little satisfaction.
Most restauranteurs might at least offer you a free drink or a half price drink the next time you come. As a result, we may not go there again. It's too bad, the food was very good.
