I wish zero stars was a thing. Terribly horrible!

I walked in and was "greeted" by a hateful and angry woman. I asked to see owner. She said she was the manager and started criticizing me so loudly that I just wanted to leave. As I turned and walked out, she was following and still b*tching at me. I never raised my voice, said anything insulting, or did anything to provoke such a nasty reception. Maybe she's just insane, but she said she was the manager. So I'd hate to meet the short-order cook -- probably a psycho wielding a meat cleaver.

poor rating due to the fact that this site says they deliver but upon calling to place order call taker sounded annoyed that i was requesting delivery and said they dont deliver. her response was the only people that can drive were her and the waitress and they weren't going to do it.....

The most bizarre restaurant experience ever. Met a friend as a half-way point between Richmond & Williamsburg. Friend arrived 1st, about 2 minutes ahead of me. He walked in and said he was meeting a friend and just wanted a beer. He was told he would have to also order something to eat, even if just a bag of chips. He said fine. At that point I arrived & he came outside to meet me. Him & I walked in together and had our pick of seats as we were the ONLY customers there! (First clue). Our teen aged waitress with active herpes lesions on her mouth (sorry, but not what you want to look at or think of while eating), asked if we cared for something to drink. I ordered Pinot Grigio while my friend ordered a Negra Modela. The waitress told us we would have to order food too - which struck me as an odd thing to say in a restaurant- I told her I was starving & actually was pretty sure of what I wanted already. She said ok then i'll get someone to take your drink order (apparently she's too young), so the other server took our drink order, asking me for my i.d., said she was NOT joking. I'm 46 and look every bit of it. The teen aged girl brought the beer (they have the law backwards, she's allowed to take our drink order but not serve it) and we immediately saw it was not what was ordered. What she brought was a Modela especial, which is a golden lager, NOT a dark beer. Without even touching the bottle, my friend told her "that's not what I ordered." She looked confused & upset & walked away without taking the bottle with her. at that point, my friend, considering just taking it, picked up the bottle & could immediately smell a bad odor. He smelled the beer & said "this is bad anyway." I smelled it and it was very pungent - smelled like we had just driven by a dead skunk in the road. We were told we had to take the other beer anyway or the waitress would be charged for it. We said, 'but that's not even what he ordered, and it's bad anyway." The owner came over and argued with us telling it was not bad, they sell a lot of those, and we had to take it or the waitress would have to pay for it. We said fine, that we would pay for it, but we did NOT want it, and it IS bad. The owner seemed more interested in arguing with us than in correcting the situation. Suddenly, she says we can have our drinks on the house - then it turns to we can have our entire meal on the house - I said I was no longer comfortable there and just wanted to leave. She said that I didn't know what i was missing as they have excellent food. I told her that actually I did know what i was missing as I had dinner there the previous week after the Virginia Derby and that it was "o.k." but - and she interrupted me telling me "no, your meal was excellent". At that point I just left. If you're hungry and/or looking for customer service this is NOT the place to go.
