Excellent food. I esp. like the fact that the staff wash their hands before and after handling the meats. Doesn't tommy remind you of joe pesci?

Great food, great service. It is like walking into a real Italian Deli with a pro in the kitchen. Tommy will make you feel welcome like family. Highly recommended.

This place got me through college. I'm from New Jersey and can attest to its authenticity. The roast beef is so tender and perfectly cooked that it melts in your mouth. If, like me, you hail from the north and grew up eating good deli food, you will find items like the Italian wedge so perfect they will truly remind you of home. There should be a Taste of Italy in every southern town.

Excellent food, great catering, and best stocked deli in town. Whatever you're there for, it will be perfect! If you've never been there, you owe it to yourself to stop in - to eat, to shop, or to buy gifts for those hard-to-shop for people.

This place is a true wilmington staple. the hot food is all made from scratch, there are different dishes every day of the week, and the wedges are delicious! The italian combo is my favorite, i recommmend it highly! also, i hate eggplant, but always seem to steal bites from friends that order it from there! the prices are higher than say a subway, but they put tons of meat and use boars head.

eat here for real italian!!!!!!

I love the food there. It is so delicious. I was just there yesterday afternoon and got a chicken parm pasta and it was out of this world! I also got these cookies that tasted like there was strawberry or cherry sauce in them and were dipped in chocolate and chocolate sprinkles. So good! Trust me I will be back there very soon.

This place is the closest thing to a northern deli in the carolinas. The chef Craig Berner is fantastic as well as cute. Can't wait to get some more of his home made meat balls, There so good.

I totally agree about the comparison with Olive Garden. I have friends that stand in line forever at Olive Garden and then rave about the wonderful Italian food there. I keep telling them that they apparently have never tasted real Italian food. Go to Taste of Italy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would anyone waste time and money on Olive Garden when Taste of Italy has the "real deal", The food is fresh and authentic. The eggplant parm and the meatballs are wonderful.

I bought 3 subs, drinks and chips, it cost me $35 seamed a little bit high. My kids loved the subs because they had a lot of meat. almost an inch thick of meat. that is too much for my tastes. But it was OK
