The Cotton Patch was a favorite of University of Alabama Students and most folks within driving distance. Fantastic fried chicken, served with fluffy biscuits and delicious gravy was one of their most popular dishes. The only place I know of that served watermelon rine pickles. It closed in 2008 and has been missed everyday since.
