First and last visit , got chopped pork and w/o the sauce has no flavor , no seasoning whatsoever. , NOT WORTH THE 13.99 LB PRICE

Smokey Joe's is an awful example of a family, Christian restaurant. I have known several cooks and waitresses, that will tell you, their kitchen is disgusting. They do not clean like they should. When it rains the kitchen floods to ankle deep, while cooks push water out of the back door which is a huge health violation. They overwork and exhaust their employees with little to no break to the point that they have no choice but to quit. There is drama within the restaurant that is nonstop. They allow the managers to be disrespectful and rude to employees, even on the first day. I know for a fact that 4 people have quit in just the last 2 weeks. 2 of the people that have quit have pregnant girlfriends at home, one being myself 4 months along, the other being 8 months along, who are struggling financially and the business is not sending the checks until they legally have to. We even asked to come pick the check up, being that we live 5 minutes away. Smokey Joe's even allowed a friend of mine to work under the table for less than minimum wage on multiple occasions. The people I know that have worked there even witnessed another employee with drugs (cocaine) and alcohol inside the restaurant. The owners truly do not care for their employees or their well-being.

My favorite BBQ place in Alabama. Go on Fridays and ask for Ribbies! Pork plates are awesome and their sauces are also great.

SMokey Joe's on Brannon Stand Road not only has the Best BBQ they now have Beef Brisket that is out of this world. Great people and a great environment as well as awesome food.

We enjoy many of the items prepared here.
I certainly recommend a trip out Brannon Stand Road to try the variety of tasty offerings, from bar-b-que sandwiches, to ribs, to pizza and salads.

Some of the best food and nicest people in Dothan. The BBQ is the best around. They have corn nuggets, home made cole slaw, and on Fridays they have ribbies!!! Awesome food!

just ate dinner there, and what a waste! went there for some bbq ribs....and got ribs that were cooked in a pan in liquid, no smoke flavor and were NASTY
