This used to be our "go to" place for a good meal in a comfortable setting. Not any more. During 2020 we did a lot of pick up and take home meals until they literally halved the food portions, maybe to save money? Tonight, we went in the bar area for our first dinner in a restaurant since the pandemic began and we have never been more disappointed. It took a long time for anyone to take our order even though the place was pretty empty. Then we get our plates with literally enough food to feed a 2 year old and my husband's was way over cooked. The waitress finally came back to check on us and we explained that his food was too over cooked to eat, she said she had to see her manager about it and left. Again, we waited quite a while before she came back and said she could take his plate and make a new dinner for him. I was close to finished with my food as I had shared mine with my husband so he suggested leaving the fries and just bringing a replacement for the burned portion. Omg, this threw the waitress a curve ball she couldn't handle. She was extremely rude and I won't get into everything that she said. The manager actually apologized for the girls behavior but the damage was done. A good waitress would have never brought that plate out of the kitchen and would have avoided any problems arising from inedible food. This place has really changed for the bad and after over 40 years we will no longer be eating there or get take out.

Slow slow service with no one there to begin with. Totally got my drink wrong (red-beer) brought a Bloody Mary (I'm allergic to white liquor!). Ordered the bar platter and it was cold. I actually believe the steak bites I ordered had the meat cut out for re-use tomorrow or something as it was almost no meat. Only fat bits. All the sauces were mixed together to make what i can only describe as pre-digested vomit flavor of everything. The fried shrimp had the crusty tails mashed into the meat so as it was almost impossible to pick out! When I asked for the check I tried to hand over my credit card to leave, but the waitress ran off to serve another table without even looking although we were only feet apart. They used to be good, but I'll never go back again!!!

Awful food, service and atmosphere. When I have been served the food came out cold and gross looking and the service was terrible, I got floaty stuff in my water. Twice in recent months the waitstaff just looked and us and kept chatting while we waited 15 minutes, so we left. That was the last straw, I will never be going back. I also can tell that the kitchen is gross and would suggest the DEC do a surprise inspection. Much better places in Wasilla to eat.
