On a windy morning after camping, we stopped for breakfast and were quickly impressed by the friendly service and fast delivery of well-prepared dishes like chicken and waffles and a lumberjack-style breakfast. Despite the restaurant being fairly empty, the staff remained attentive and efficient, making the experience pleasant and efficient, with food quality that justified the slightly higher price compared to typical chain restaurants. The recently renovated location offers a wide selection and a welcoming atmosphere, including a lounge with a pool table, making it a reliable choice for a satisfying meal when passing through Brooks.

During our recent camping trip, we decided to stop for breakfast at Ricky's on our way back, as the windy conditions made cooking outdoors impossible. The restaurant appeared quiet at first, which gave us some initial doubts, but those were quickly dispelled by the attentive and friendly service we received. I opted for the chicken and waffles while my partner chose the lumberjack-style breakfast, and we were impressed by the quick service and delicious food.
