I recently dined at Bistro 63 and was delighted by their delectable offerings, including perfectly crispy fries and mouthwatering burgers and risottos. The covered outdoor deck provided a lovely setting for our meal, with attentive service from the bartender who took our orders right at our table. The creamy chicken risotto was a standout dish, perfectly balanced in richness and flavor, and the tiramisu was a decadent finale to a superb culinary experience at this cozy American Italian restaurant in Amherst.

I went there a little while ago with a friend for lunch and it was awful! The food wasn't terrible (it was not great either) but our waitress was incredibly rude, never came over to check on us except to bring us our food and our check and instead stood behind the bar eating french fries (where we could see her). The credit card sat on the table for 20 minutes before she came to pick it up. There was only one other party there and a second waitress to take care of them. I left offended by the slow and rude service, I would never even think about returning.

We went with another couple on a not so busy night. We were seated promptly. Server was extremely pleasant and solicitous. We all tried different appetizers and entrees and shared. Can highly recommend our appetizers, the lobster clam chowder, tapas, maytag blue cheese salad and the best onion soup I've had anywhere. Our entrees--the Iron steak gorgonzola, boulliabaise, rack of lamb, seafood san francisco. Each one was so good it was hard to share! I wouldn't go anywhere else anymore.
