While in town for business, I discovered a soul food restaurant that instantly reminded me of southern home cooking. The catfish and fried chicken wings paired with gumbo, collards, and red beans and rice were seasoned perfectly and cooked just right, making each bite memorable. Though the space is small and a bit worn, the friendly staff and generous portions keep me coming back whenever I'm craving authentic southern flavors.
