Over the weekend, I enjoyed the Yang Pyung Sunji Haejang Gook, a bubbling hot hangover soup filled with blood cubes, pork, chitterlings, cabbage, and bean sprouts, which was perfectly seasoned and improved further with fresh minced chili peppers and red hot pepper paste. The kimchi sides were fresh and flavorful, the service was friendly and efficient, and despite the casual setting, the hearty dishes and reasonable prices made for a satisfying dining experience that I look forward to repeating.
