10/14/2008 - mountain figs
Perhaps I came here on an off day, but I will not be tempted to try it again just to make sure. The pad thai, with a side of green beans and scoop of bite-sized chicken bits in mystery sauce was absolutely awful. The noodles were dried out from sitting in the warmer too long, and one of the green beans I actually attempted to eat had the mushy texture and off-taste of the moldy forgotten beans I once discovered in the back of my veggie drawer at home. I've been a member of the clean plate club since kindergarten, and I am not a picky eater, but I honestly couldn't finish this meal. As my imagination went to work on what kind of bacteria were giving it that stale wet dog aroma and flavor, I ended up chucking a good 3 quarters of the slop and opting to fill my hungry tummy with some overpiced bland pasta from Sbarro's instead. Moral of the story: Don't Do It!!!
