Red Sky is a chic and stylish restaurant and lounge, conveniently located in downtown Boston adjacent to exciting, historic Faneuil Hall. With an upscale yet stress-free environment, Red Sky's goal is to draw in all walks of life. Its comfortable and relaxed decor appeals to a slightly older demographic than that of the typical Faneuil Hall establishment. The intimate ambiance is complemented by efficient and friendly service designed to please and satisfy patrons. Open seven days a week at 11:30 AM, doors do not close until 2 AM and food is served until 1 AM. There is a full bar, including creative specialty cocktails, several domestic and imported bottled beer and drafts, and an array of diverse wines that pair fantastically with the food. Featuring a fusion of French, Italian, American, and Asian fare, Red Sky offers a large lunch and dinner menu at competitive neighborhood prices. The eclectic food can be enjoyed either in the designated dining room or at tables in the bar and lounge. Whether you are seeking good conversation and lunch al fresco on the soon-to-open patio, dinner by candle-light in plush fabric banquettes, or late night tapas and drinks while listening to lounge beats and the latest hip-hop jams at audible levels, you can find it all at Red Sky.

took my boyfriend there for his 29th bday which was strongly suggested by a co-worker. I called at 12noon just to get a reservation so they suggested. I was told that we'd be getting a Booth. When we got there around 6pm, was not given a booth as promised, we got stuck at the end of the hall way right by the kitchen with very little room and my chair stuck half way out into the walkway. It was loud, the music was horrible ( beat up 80's mix with early 90's).

and the food. the food was HORRIBLE to say the least. which made me wonder, ppl who post here that suggested that this place had decent food, WERE YOU DRUNK OR JUST HAVE NO CONCEPT OF WHAT GOOD FOOD TASTE LIKE? we ordered quesediallas (dont mind my spelling) , it tasted really peppery, the chicken inside was dried, the cheese tasted bitter and overcooked, they can't even make fresh guacamole which to my surprise, a bar/lounge with such high recommendations can't even make their own guacamole???? for Entrees, we got steak tips and Salmon, the steak tips were just ugh, over salted, over cooked ( i asked for medium rare) i got medium well. The mashed potatoes were not made with real potatoes, the asparagus had GRAINS OF SALT sprinkled as a thick layer coating on the green. the Salmon my boyfriend got had NO TASTE, no marinate, NOTHING, not even butter, the spinach and squash that came with the Salmon came obviously from a can. for $17, u think they can at least season your fish?

the place was trashy, TRASHY for a bar/lounge barely there restaurant in one of Boston's famous tourist spot. Go there and enjoy the food if your drunk and doesn't mind getting overpriced bar quality food, no, u know what, i've had BETTER BAR FOOD than this place. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE, AND NEITHER WILL I RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING. If you want good food for a good price, or good food that might be overpriced, IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD PERIOD. don't bother going to this place. don't even go here for drinks, i had this citrus vodka, coconut rum with pineapple cocktail that tasted nothing like the dignified coconut rum and citrus vodka. what a waste of $65 for crappy food, sh-tty drinks, and horrible service. we waited 20mins for the waitress to get our order ,, nevermind her not even show up with our food with utensils. I've been to a lot of restaurants all over the world, and this is by far the most horrible experience i've ever had. and it's for my boyfriend's birthday!

it doesn't even deserve a star rating!
