The Lexington is a new hot spot in East Cambridge. The views are lovely. The cocktails are delicious. Staff are knowledgeable. Why did I give this establishment a one star review? The breading on the fish tacos was not seasoned. The grilled cheese was inedible because of the intense amount of salt content. Last but not least; I was charged $42 (a full day rate) for parking. Why? There is a 3 hours time limit and the restaurant did not state this on their website. (It’s stated to be $10.) We even asked the hostess if there was a time limit before we left to make sure that we didn’t go over. They said there is no time limit. They didn’t even offer to cover the charge after speaking with the GM, Tim. I’m hoping they improve their food and update their website. If that happens, I’ll try again. But for now, I can’t recommend going there.
