Great sandwiches, great service, great people! I look forward to my Big Daddy fix nearly every day!

I'm a road tripper kinda guy and make a point to eat at bagel shops all around the US. i never stop at chains. i was just in boulder, co and happened upon a Big Daddy Bagels, bagel shop. fun name, funky decor, cute and smiling ladies behind the counter. service was speedy. i think the menu could be a little smaller, but who doesn't love choices, especially in America. after chatting it up with the manager i was pleased to find out that it is a private locally owned and operated ma and pop shop and they boil their bagels! even though they don't have wifi... i hung out for a couple of hours listening to music, chatting with what i think were "regulars" and the staff, who were friendly and hilarious. delicious locally roasted organic coffee and the bagels are outta this world. Big Daddy Bagels... that name still cracks me up.

big daddy bagels surprised the heck out of me! not only do they have a large assortment of delicious bagels but, hot deli sandwiches, smoothies, a full espresso menu and organic locally roasted boulder coffee are served up by a smiling and caring bunch. the woman who took my order and made my sandwich to perfection was quick and personable... so not only was my sandwich prepared in a timely fashion but, she took interest in how i was doing and what was going on... for me good service makes the experience and good food is a perk, big daddy bagels has both and much more.

This place is horrible. Sub par ingredients don't make a "gourmet" bagel sandwich no matter what sort of fancy name you give it. The service was horrible, theres no real line, just a gaggle of people hoping the counter people will pay attention to them. And after you finally get your order in, you wait in line 5 minutes to get to the cash register where you have to repeat it again. The bagels are small, almost everything is microwaved. I dont know where they get off calling themselves a new york bagelshop
