Upon arriving at the Capri Motor inn at 10pm, my initial impression was a bit underwhelming, especially after spending the previous night at a lakefront inn. However, as the morning sunlight filled the room, things began to look more promising. The room featured new, oversized bath towels, clean sheets, a strong shower with ample hot water, good bathroom lighting including a heat lamp, sound-insulating cinder block walls, an openable window, and a friendly and accommodating staff. While the fold-out couch and bed quilts left something to be desired, the hotel's convenient location just a few blocks away from Safeway and downtown shops and restaurants made it a decent value for the price.
