While dining at the Cal Pines Lodge, I had a minor mishap with my salad plate, but Alexis swiftly came to the rescue with a broom and dustpan, showcasing her hard work ethic. The steak was exceptional, and the overall service was commendable, especially watching young employees like Alexis hustle diligently. The lodge exudes an older charm, with good drinks, interesting patrons, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a standout dining option in Modoc County.
