I called in an order to the Sunset Rd. Charlotte NC Pizza Hut location. Once we arrived to pick up our carry out order we were told they did not have record of an order placed. Shortly after arriving at the store I had a missed call from what turned out to be the Cornelius NC Pizza Hut location. They were calling to share with me that my carry out order was ready for pick up. I explained to the caller that I never contacted the Cornelius NC location and didn't understand why my order ended up being placed at a location that I never contacted. Then I was told that the call center took the call and that they probably just went off of previous ordering history. I could not believe what I was hearing. When I placed my order no one identified themselves as being from the call center. I expressed that this was terrible customer service and that this was not how they should treat their customers. Going forward if customer service is going to be involved the customer should know and they need to develop a more efficient and accuracy focused process.
