The fried chicken and catfish here are seriously tasty, with crispy, well-seasoned batter and perfectly cooked fries that hit the spot every time. The service is friendly and efficient, and despite the rough neighborhood vibe and bulletproof windows, the food is fresh, hot, and worth every bite-just come knowing what you want and enjoy the no-frills, real-deal flavors.

The food at J&J in Beverly is exceptional, with flavorful fried catfish and perfectly seasoned chicken. The portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the red velvet cake is a must-try for dessert. Despite the sketchy neighborhood and bulletproof windows, the quality of the food and friendly service make it worth a visit.
