Alice BBQ on the Southside serves some of the best smoked ribs and tips you'll find, with tender meat and a sauce that's spot on whether you like it mild or hot. Expect a wait when they open because everyone knows the food is worth it, and while the service is straightforward and the ambiance simple, the flavors keep me coming back time and time again.

Visited April 2, 2025 I visited for lunch around 1:30pm and waited for about 20 minutes or so. Order was large rib tip that cost me $25.78...my food was cold, old with cold and stale fries. No refund is given only food will be exchange...I just don't understand, how the cook gave a slab of rib to be cut up for tips off a hot grill and the meat was cold and old? All I wanna say is they don't really care about us.

I went to Alice 5 different times and my rib tips were burnt. I wanted to give more chances but I'm done. Bad as my legs hurt I walked down there. I go to Uncle J now on 47.👌
