Great reviews, not impressed.
Went here during a trip, and really not impressed.
Had beef carpaccio as a starter. Looked like it had been seared on the outside, was a little thick and the kitchen put a 'blob' of terrible tartar sauce on it which runined it
Served bread (toasted?!?), with a terrible olive oil (tasted like a cooking oil) and far too much oregano. Couldn't eat any of it.
I ordered spaghetti carbonara (had to ask for it without peas!), and it was just drenched with oil (see pic). Not great.
My friend ordered the steak and asked for it medium, was way over cooked was well done.
A chef who cannot cook a steak, and an Italian that has pasta dripping with oil wasn't great. Would not go back.
(Staff were nice though).
