Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at a Mexican/Salvadoran restaurant in Adams Morgan. The food, particularly the pollo guisado, tasted just like my grandma used to make. The portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the prices were great. I especially enjoyed the carne guisada, a flavorful Mexican beef stew served with rice and tortillas. The atmosphere may not be fancy, but the authentic flavors and welcoming service make it a spot worth returning to.
