Service was outstanding, please give their staff a break, they all are busy, but every course was brought with impeccable timing, and was perfect, I will be going back, I love the family atmosphere.

Who let's their kids take ornaments off a tree at a restaurant? That is so rude and weird. I would never let my children touch things that don't belong to them without asking first. Please do a better job of parenting.

The place and staff appear to be kid-friendly at first. My 3 year old daughter noticed their Christmas tree. She starting taking off some of the ornaments on the tree and then putting them back on. Pretty harmless and I was right there by her to make sure she didn’t break anything etc and was helping encouraging her not to take them and to put them back on the tree right away.
The manger (I believe) then came up to us and asked her to stop. Which she wasn’t doing much harm, but the manger did ask somewhat politely, so I apologized and explained that she wasn’t going to take any of them with her, she was just taking them off and putting them back on and that I would put them back whatever they wanted just to help and try to keep everyone happy. She seemed fine with that, then another staff person, who appeared to just be a younger server guy, said something and was extremely rude about it, saying that she couldn’t do that, etc. It then made my daughter really upset, I tried explaining to him that we were literally on our way out and she wasn’t trying to harm anything, etc. She got really upset from there and it basically ruined our entire night and keep in mind we had a $280 tab and left a 30% tip. My daughter isn’t perfect, but she’s also only 3 years old.
Anyone in the service industry that works at a kid friendly place should know that’s not how you talk and/or treat a little kid.
This was our second time going there and will probably be our last.
I understand good help is hard to find now in days, but the way that server was, was unacceptable. Hopefully they do a better job in the future for the restaurant’s sake.
