I popped into this local favorite joint for some grub with the fam. Metro Detroit peeps know this place like the back of their hand. The original spot's still kickin', with two more around town. The Fairlane Mall spot might be gone, but it holds some sweet memories for me and my hubby (12 years strong!). The service was a bit wonky - had to ask twice to clean the table, and someone yawned all over a plate (gross!). Nachos MIA, but the t-bone steak and fried shrimp were on point. The zip sauce is a must-try! Some areas need a good scrub-down, but the vibe's cozy. Despite the hiccups, I'd swing by again for the nostalgia. Cheers to the staff for the love they put into the grub.
