This review is for 2021 Mardi gras.
Heard there mardi gras food was good so decided to go. Got there seating was seat yourself some tables spaced appropriately due to COVID but some NOT. kinda have your head scratching due to them just being shut down due to not following Covid guidelines.
Ordered drinks rum runner and food. Drinks came out was very watered down. Raw oysters came out they tasted fine just little overpriced. My girlfriend and son food came out gator po boy and never received my food till 20 min later. I ordered crawfish boil. The gator was ok didn't like the breading they fried it in it was cornmeal. They finished there meal and I finally received my meal after asking where it was they gave me 1/2 my order and said other half will be out soon.
The crawfish were rubbery and best way I could describe the tastes is as if you cooked crawfish in just water and redpepper then store it in a cardboard box and next day or 2 then microwave it to order. It was bland with spice on lips, chewy and hint of stale cardboard. Asked for check and NEVER RECEIVED OTHER HALF OF ORDER.
