The food is awesome!

We have ate here about five times in the last two years. Usually the food is good but always inconsistent. We’ve had a dinner that I would rate a 4-5 no questions about it. My husband proposed to me here one year ago so we came back for a proposal anniversary tonight. The cook was horrible. He for got the chicken for several people, did not do any tricks like the egg roll or toss people veggies or squirt sake. He never served any sauce, we got up and got it for ourselves, did not ask us how we wanted our filet cooked and I had to ask him to give us our filet because it was already at medium and we like medium rare. The shrimp were burnt and the veggies were burnt on one side and raw and crunchy all together. We boxed up the veggies to bring them home to cook them further. I still would recommend Shoguns if the right chef is available but it is a gamble.
