I have visited Canopy Road on Blairstone at the Parkway 3 times now. The first time, with my son, proved to be uncomfortable and unacceptable, since the table we were given was too small for two people and breakfast. The food might have been great had it been hot, but it was brought out less than lukewarm.
That should have been my last visit, but I made the mistake of giving it a second try, this time alone. The food was again presented lukewarm. When my waitress later asked if everything was ok, I let her know it was cold. She did not offer to make it right, so I asked her why she even bothered to ask if everything was ok since she didn't care anyway. I was asked again at checkout by another employee if everything was alright, so I relayed my transaction with the apathetic waitress. The checkout person showed the exact same apathy, shown by an empty assuring me that she "would have would made it right". But she took my money without saying or doing anything more.
Since my wife likes the fresh salads they serve, (which of course, are not served hot), I gave CR yet a third try. UGH! After waiting extremely long to have our order taken [the server apologized for that], and even after warning him to not bring out lukewarm food, we waited quite a long time more for the food, including for my wife's cold salad. My food arrived lukewarm, but by that time (after two ridiculously long waits) I was too hungry to even answer the waiter's question if it was hot enough. I just ate it.
When the checkout girl asked if I needed the change I was owed, and I said "do you have any?", she answered "No, you're good" - as if I was who owed her the change!
I do not recommend CR as a place to eat - unless you like apathetic servers , long waits. and cold food.
