my first visit to Ocean Diner was October 2015 and my breakfast was excellent. My omelet was stuffed with cheese and bacon the home fries were delicious and the accompanying thick slices of toast equally delicious.Portions were very generous and service great. Today my experience was the complete opposite! i had heard from others that things had gone downhill and i must say that sadly that information was true. I ordered the same breakfast as before and couldnt believe the difference. My omelet was so flat it resembled a crepe and was cold had hardly any bacon and cheese not even melted. The tiny portion of home fries were also cool and flavorless and toast no longer accompanies the meal. While my waitress was pleasant she was either tired or understaffed though there were only about 5 tables occupied when i was there. Add to that my daughters chocolate chip pancakes were overcooked and tough to chew. Too bad as this restaurant started out so well and i now have to agree with others who warned me it was going downhill.
