Chicken strip joints have been popping up all over Tallahassee, but Guthrie's still rules my taste buds with its simple menu-just chicken strips, slaw, fries, and that addictive special sauce that's basically liquid gold. The drive-thru service is usually quick and friendly, and while the dining area might feel a bit sterile, the food more than makes up for it with fresh, crispy tenders and satisfying portions. Every time I'm in town, the order is the same: double fries, no slaw, extra sauce-because why mess with perfection?
