Wow food was definitely not good. Ordered online and for the price i paid. Someone or everyone has lost their passion for food. Will not order from them again.:(

The food is delicious, the staff treat you like family. I love them. Priced just right. Real home style food for those that don't like to cook much. Getting dinner take out for tonight!!! Highly recommend. I live just blocks away.

Local Nokomite here with a little advice for those looking to disparage Anita's.

Take a walk on our local jetty, then keep walking until you get to Mexico.
You're not welcome here.

Anita's is and always shall be a fine place to dine. She is a kind, enduring woman with a limit.
She runs a tight ship. If her crew fails to toe the line they walk the plank.

If a guest is a pest they are removed. It's a good system. It should actually be implemented nation wide.

I've never ever had a poorly prepared meal in her establishment. She wouldn't dream of it.

Here's my advice: If you want good food then ignore the ignoramus'. Stop into Anita's
My favorite is the Bacon egg and cheddar Croissant with grits. It's phenomenal.

Tom and I eat at Anita's Restaurant often, i read the reviews that some of these people post. And i am shocked they would even write the terrible things we are Christian folks and even if i felt this way i would not post something like that to me that is not very Christian like to bash any restaurant in that manner. My husband and I enjoy going to this restaurant and we have never had any bad experiences at this restaurant and we will always return and recommend this place.

I have worked at Anita's for almost 3 yrs now. And I wouldn't give up my job for anything. People say we have a big turn over but what they don't realize is that it has nothing to do with Anita. They say "Oh I really need a job please give me a chance" then they don't show or they are not willing to do the job the way Anita likes it done. And another thing is that Anita is there over 12 hrs a day to make sure things are right, the food, the service, and everything in between. The food is fresh and the service is great. We as servers try to make the customers feel welcome, with a homely feeling atmosphere.
Anita's main goal is to make sure ALL customers are happy!

We were seated having dinner when the owner came over to another customer screaming at them telling them to get out. Then as they were leaving, she used a terrible cuss word at them I won't repeat. We were all Christian women and this was very embarrassing to say the least. This is not the type of establishment we will honor. If you can't treat your customers well, we can just imagine how she treats her staff. Terrible to say the least.

Very good place. Looks like a Key West style fish house from the outside but a diner inside. Good chicken-fried steak and other diner fare. Large portions, enough to take some home for lunch. Beer and wine currently only a buck. No liquor, though, so get your cocktail somewhere else. This is a very popular place. Any bad reviews are likely from a disgruntled former employee. Everyone I know likes Anita's.

Terrible...would never recommend to anyone. They turn over staff in the kitchen all the time-Anita needs to get it together.....hire a crew and keep them.....bad name out there
