The sauce on the veal parmigiana was the best. The staff here is friendly. Better than most restaurants in Little Italy.

We enjoy the food and local atmosphere and generally great staff. However, our issue is with front door host. On 2 recent separate occasions, we were told we could not be seated where we requested. The first was with our family of five. Even though tables were available, we were crunched into a booth. He told us the tables were "reserved." The open tables remained open until we were finished with dinner. The second occasion was last week. Just two of us this time. We asked for a booth since there were four available. The young man said they weren't available and put us at a table for six people. We questioned and were told that it depends on the waitstaff??? While we were there, the host seated everyone who came after us at the booths. Go figure??? Well, that did it for us. We'll be eating elsewhere

Advertising pizza comes out of a brick oven, someone needs some education. This is not a brick oven pizza, false advertisement.

I have never written a review in my 75 years. I have had better frozen pizza from Walmart! Had the super deluxe. Absolutely no flavor at all. Hardly no sauce? Onions were under cooked but even then, no flavor. Several friends had recommended joeys Maybe my taste buds are dead. Very sorry to write this.

Was recommended by a friend to dine here. Went the 1st time and loved it. Went back again and really enjoyed the food. The prices are amazing for what you get. Best place in Ocala for Italian food!

Brought my whole family. We usually all get together once a week and my mother and grandmother usually does the cooking. We are Italian. If you are used to homemade authentic Italian food the Do Not Come Here. If you think your gonna get proper Italian food then you are mistaken. The family didn't enjoy it and my Nonna and mother were both upset. Now I'm in trouble lol.

I don't care for this place at all but refuse to insult the people who have been there and like the food and continue to eat there. The rude and disrespectful reviewers have no business being callous. It shows the lack of class they claim to have . Those who have been to Italy and are comparing it to their experience at Little Joeys to genuine Italian food is unrealistic. No, I don't care for the food. I have the option not to return as do they.

Lasagne Bolognese wasn't correctly made and wasn't good either. It gets fresh spinach pasta with bolognese sauce and a creamy bechamel sauce. They need a real Italian chef or a chef schooled in proper Italian cuisine.

Food was disgusting. I lived in Italy in Italy for 10 years and the animals eat better food. They don't use olive oil but something else and cheap. 2 stars cause the waitress was nice.

How is this place still open? They were closed in November 2020 for live rodent and roach activity. I'll never go back there again!

The carbonara is not even close to the way they make it in Italy!!! It was very very bad and not authentic!!! The pizza was disgusting! Sausage topping was definitely frozen and looked like mice poop balls. It was a turn off and a complete let down. This place is for the poor people who do not know real Italian dishes and like bad low grade pizza. The other real Italians I know wouldn't eat here. Molto vergognoso

I went in to place an order, while looking at the menu, I noticed there was a strange chemical odor (something like pest spray), I couldn't exactly figure out what it was. I decided to pass on ordering and left, I couldn't get the smell out of my nose and didn't have much of an appetite anymore.

I ordered 2 subs. 1 hot and 1 cold they both were extremely disappointing . The chicken was paper thin and had lots of breading and the cold sub was cheap quality cold cuts. The ham was absolutely disgusting. Provolone tastes no different from the mozzarella. The subs were tiny also. The quality and the quantity wasn't worth it. Terrible!!! Will never go back!

Pizza is no good. Seems like a lot of fake New Yorkers eat here. These people don't know real Italian food. They don't even make good American Italian food.
