After eating there, I'm surprised this place has remained open this long. The staff is welcoming and the service is good, no problems there, but oh the food...

I've always had my suspicions that this place really doesn't cook any of its non-pizza meals on premises and that everything is pre-made, frozen, and thawed/microwaved as needed. And I think I'm right. The giveaway is that there's no delicious food smell when you walk in the place! It doesn't smell bad, but there's no "authentic" italian cuisine smell...no garlic, no onions, no slowly-cooked marinara, nothing!

I went there for lunch on a Saturday around 1:30 PM. I ordered a gyro pita which consisted of three small very-thin slices of gyro meat, suffocated in A LOT of shredded lettuce and a couple of thin slices of tomato. There was maybe a teaspoon of tatziki sauce in there, if that. And that's it for $5.99. I hope you weren't expecting fries with that because, unlike most other restaurants that serve gyro sandwiches, this place doesn't include them with the sandwich. It simply and unceremoniously plops a sandwich on a plate all by its lonesome self. As for the taste, well...it was hard to tell since it tasted more like a shredded lettuce pita sandwich than anything that would contain gyro meat.

For dessert, I decided to try their peanut butter pie for $3.95. I figured I could try to redeem this meal with a tasty dessert. How can one mess up peanut butter pie, right? Well, Lintini's has found a way! A piece of obviously factory-made pie arrived, again just plopped onto a plate, in a FROZEN SOLID state. If you can't take the time to thaw out a pie, then just tell the customers it's not available. Later at the register the manager stammeringly told me that this is how they always serve this pie. For some reason, I didn't believe her. Whether they always do this or not is up for debate, but the fact remains that I was served a rock-solid piece of pie.

The only good thing, foodwise, was the Diet Coke. It was brown, fizzy and tasted the way Diet Coke should taste. At least there was that.
