I will not lie - the food is fantastic. We were regular customers (once a week). The reason that I am giving one star is the service. We came in on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately with menus. We waited and waited - no one acknowledged us. Three waiters ignored us. Restaurant only had about 6 tables full. We watched as the table next to us got their food. We watched as more people arrived and got their drink order. While we were being ignored, we decided to look at the menu. We decided on our appetizers and our main entree. Still no body said "we will be right with you". Nothing - it was like we were invisible. After at least 15 minutes of this, we decided to get up and leave. Upon leaving, the hostess (who had just seated us 15 minutes before), said "Thank you for coming, have a nice day". It was at this time that we told the hostess (and the manager who was standing there) about the horrible service. The manager just said - "oh well we will serve you now". No apology - nothing. It was bad enough that we were ignored but the attitude was horrible. We were just too pissed off to stay. We had already decided what we wanted to eat - something we slowly like to do over drinks. Even though I was really looking forward to eating Vietnamese, we ended up across the street at Texas Road House where were were promptly seated AND SERVED. Next time I feel like Vietnamese Cuisine, it will NOT be at Lucky Corner.
