The seafood here is surprisingly good, especially considering its distance from the coast. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is consistently amazing, offering a refreshing departure from the typical fried fare found in the south.

Bought some so called fresh snapper fillets got them home and fried in a small temperature controlled fryer for about 5 minutes. The fillets were tougher than shoe leather I have fresh snapper before these fillets were very old and very expensive. But the joke is on me for thinking someplace in Thomaston Ga could boast to have fresh seafood---what a joke.

Simply incredible. Only open Thurs-Saturday, they bring up fresh fish from Florida. Great food, reasonable prices. You order fish by the 1/4lb, all prepared either steamed, broiled, baked (no fried).
