I discovered a family-owned BBQ restaurant in a remote area that serves delicious smoked meats, including incredible ribs and sandwiches. We visited early on a Friday and enjoyed a BBQ plate, chicken plate, and brisket plate, all accompanied by Brunswick stew, bread, and tea, with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere that quickly became busy.

This is a prime example of the Dixie BBQ. Simple, sparse building, fantastic barbecue!! In my opinion it just doesn't get any better than this. Well worth going out of your way for if you don't happen to be going thru Sparta.
