The food is good but terrible customer service and time schedule!! Go to their time schedule they close at 10p.m. get to the store they closing at 7:45pm and tried calling them for a whole hour never answered. I love eating there but needs a lot on their service and they’re time schedule.

Visited this place for the 1st time on 11/18/22. I didn’t realize there was an order process before going to the window. Honest mistake, I’m not from Americus. The young man was rude and didn’t come to window, the black girl had to come take my order. She did allow me to order. The look on her face told me everything I needed to know. Race does matter, I will never eat there again. So to who ever the white guy working the window that day at 1p.m.you need better customer skills or maybe it was truly the color of my skin.

The slowest service I have ever received

My husband and I have just left this place about 20 minutes ago. We ordered a chicken breast sandwich meal, and a gizzard plate. We got home and sat down to eat, and man the food was fresh tasting and seasoned just right. The food did not have a greasy after taste of so many usage of the grease. The chicken was crunchy and the lettuce and tomatoes was very good. My husband and I do not eat out a lot but today, I told him that I had a taste for a Carter's Fried Chicken sandwich, and I am glad we stopped there this afternoon. I will be coming back here again. Keep up the good work and freshness of the food and the grease. The cashier was nice as well, plus while my husband and I was waiting, we saw that fresh chicken was brought out in the display.

We had read online what a wonderful place Carter’s Fried Chicken on Tripp Street was. Absolutely Aweful!! The article said the food would be cooked fresh and to order. Not! The young man on the register said only the catfish would be cooked fresh. If you wanted chicken it was already cooked. We ordered and sure enough, my chicken had been cooked and kept warm, rice and gravy was terrible as were the other sides my husband and I ordered: potato salad and fries! SO don’t waste your time or money! Hubby’s catfish, however was good. Will never return!
