Maunakea Market Food Court offers an impressive variety of Filipino turo-turo stands, with Aje's Cafe standing out for its consistently delicious, homemade flavors and friendly, quick service. Their pancit is the best I've ever had-richly flavorful with tender pork-and dishes like pork guisantes, tortang talong, and nilagang baka taste just like a comforting, home-cooked meal made from fresh ingredients. Affordable and served early in the morning, this family-run spot has been my go-to for authentic Filipino food in Chinatown since 2010.

Everything is good

I recently discovered that Maunakea Marketplace Food Court is filled with 90% Filipino turo-turo stands, offering a variety of unique and flavorful dishes. Despite some redundancy in the food offerings, each stand had its own specialties, making it difficult to choose where to eat, but I ultimately settled on Aje's Cafe for their delicious and authentic Filipino cuisine. The food is freshly made daily using fresh ingredients from Chinatown, and their dishes like Nilagang Baka, Tortang Talong, Pork Guisantes, and Laing are seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection, providing a taste of traditional Filipino flavors at affordable prices.
