This was our second visit to this location. The first time we ordered to-go and it never posted it was ready and so an hour into our wait, we went in and it was cold sitting on the counter. No problem, our fault for not checking in sooner.
This visit, we ordered to-go and it was pretty fast! Got it home and it was still hot! I was super excited for the chicken and waffles until... I opend the waffle box and it looked a bit weird so I flipped the waffle out of the box and out came a vinyl glove attached to the waffle. I work in food service, I know things happen... so I called to talk to a manager to see if I could get a replacement waffle but once I finally got someone on the phone, it was less than stellar. I said "Hi, I know you guys are busy but I just picked up a To-Go order about 10-15 minutes ago and just got home with it and there is a food service glove in my waffle..." and the person who said they were the manager said "Oh... okay. Yeah?" And then just a long pause, so I explained the situation again because I was thrown off there wasn't an apology first. So I calmly explained and she interrupted me and said " what do you want? A refund? " and at that point I hung up because my temper started. This woman doesn't deserve to be chewed out because I lost my temper but what this place does deserve is to not have return service. I spent 16 bucks for one dish only to be able to eat half of it... and to have "management" not understand the weight of the situation when a customer finds a foreign object in their food... not a hair or piece of paper... but a full on glove.
