Booby's is a close second to my favorite bar in C'dale, especially when the beer garden opens up in the Spring and Summer. The bands are great, the food is tasty, drinks are affordable, and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The only downside is their delivery service, as hot sandwiches tend to arrive lukewarm.

Booby's is a solid choice for a good time in C'dale, right behind PK's in my book. The Spring/Summer vibe at Booby's is unbeatable, especially with their vibrant beer garden. Enjoy live music, tasty bites, affordable drinks, and a chill ambiance, but be wary of their lackluster delivery service - your sandwich might arrive lukewarm. From subs to the bar to the bustling beer garden, Booby's promises a lively nightlife scene that's perfect for a good ol' party time.

I was excited to see them back, but I was a little disappointed with the bun. It was not as good as I remember.

I went to Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, IL many years ago. Booby's sandwiches were to die for. Every Sunday night, friends in the dorm would order their favorite sandwich, and we would eat and enjoy as a group! Let's hope the sandwiches are still as fabulous as they were years ago! Thanks Booby's for great Sunday night dinners!
