Growing up around here, Kruta Bakery has always been the spot for delicious, fresh pastries that feel like home-my grandparents started the tradition back in East St. Louis, and it's something I've passed down to my daughter. Whether it's their sinfully good cream horns, moist angel food cake, or those legendary doughnuts, every visit reminds me why this family-run bakery has been a local favorite for decades. There is a bakery in the area that stands above the rest, offering sinfully delicious creamhorns and a must-try Angel Food cake that never disappoints. My family has cherished the tradition of getting a Keira Cake for birthdays ever since I can remember, passing it down through generations.
