we had heard good and not so good comments from friends and family that have ate here so, my wife and I went there for breakfast this morning. Walking in it looked bright and clean and notice the chalk board stating the breakfast buffet was 17.99, we then sat at our table and there were no menus for other options so we had no choice but to get that. The buffet choices are pretty impressive with plenty of egg choices, meats and pancakes, French bread and waffles and fruits in syrup (not fresh). Everything we ate was not hot at all, warm at best as one of our fiends told us the same. The syrup for the pancakes and French toast was hot but, as soon as it cooled on the plate it formed a skin over the top then became really thick and pasty (not so good) and, by the way, we don't buy expensive syrup and our doesn't do this, real maple syrup is very thin too. They had potato pancakes that I was so looking forward to eating but, they were just barely warm and over fried, the corn beef hash was like mush. My wife and I both had water to drink plus I had one cup of coffee at 2.69$ and our bill was 41 dollars and some change plus the 8 dollar tip for our pleasant waitress. Nearly 50 dollars for a sub par breakfast is un acceptable for sure. Next time we will make the drive to Sheridan's Calico's Café where the food is literally made from scratch, they aren't a buffet but, I don't care, their portions are huge and their homemade cinnamon roll are great and we never pend that much money, high 30's with tip.
