While the parking situation is quite challenging and the service can be inconsistent at times, the food quality and portion sizes make it worth visiting. Some dishes, like the Parmesan crusted honey mustard chicken and fresh carrot cake, received positive notes, though a few sides like the mashed potatoes could be improved by opting for alternatives such as fettuccine with lemon herb sauce.

Walnut is a welcoming establishment with a lot to offer once you step inside. The parking situation could use some improvement, but overall, it's a worthwhile visit.

Lived in Elgin 3 years never have been there ask there many times the best cheeseburger I've ever had ever and I'm 65 Wednesday but that said I'm going there right now to eat again it is so awesome even the bartenders are the bomb
