As a former SIU/Carbondale alum passing through town, I sought out a well-rated Greek restaurant and was pleased to find Pita Alley, where the gyros sandwich exceeded my expectations with its balanced ingredients and flavorful Greek olives on the side. The ordering process is straightforward-pay at the front counter and have your meal brought to your table-and while the decor is simple and lacks traditional ambiance, the quality of the food, including desserts like baklava, truly stands out. Additionally, the staff is friendly and attentive, the menu offers a variety of Mediterranean dishes, and the restaurant has proven reliable for both casual dining and catering larger events.

Greetings! As a former customer of Pita Alley, I wanted to share that the Gyro with slaw and baba ganoush I ordered was exceptionally delicious. The staff was patient and accommodating when I called ahead for catering, and the food exceeded my expectations, making it a fantastic choice for any event or casual dining experience.
