Le Mars, Iowa, proudly calls itself the Ice Cream Capital of the World, and the Wells Dairy Blue Bunny visitor center really delivers on that reputation. The downstairs ice cream parlor offers a huge variety of flavors at great prices, along with fun sundaes and cones, while upstairs there's a neat theater and interactive exhibits about the ice cream-making process. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the whole experience is super family-friendly, making it a fun and tasty stop whenever I'm passing through.

Le Mars, Iowa is known as the Ice Cream Capital of the world for a reason! The visitor center is a cool spot with lots of info on the history of Wells and Blue Bunny, plus a neat movie theater showcasing the ice cream production process. Downstairs, you'll find a wide selection of delicious ice cream flavors at reasonable prices, along with a fun gift shop to explore.

The line was soooo long; prepare to wait 1/2 hr before u can order. Unless you have an app on your phone, you won't know what you can get get until u get to the Order Place. I suggest they have a menu u can get upon entering OR places on the wall while you wait in line so when u get to the Order Place u know what u want. During peak time they could also have someone with a I-Pad taking orders for people standing in line. Just some thoughts. 😂
