The food here consistently arrives hot and fresh, with standout dishes like sweet and sour chicken and shrimp tempura that keep me coming back for more. The staff strikes a perfect balance between friendly and attentive, checking in at just the right moments without interrupting my bites. Despite the lively atmosphere during busy hours, the cozy ambiance-with its slow piano music-makes for a genuinely enjoyable dining experience every time.

This restaurant can get pretty busy during regular meal hours, but we usually just call in our orders for pick up or delivery. The food is always served hot and fresh, and the staff are friendly and attentive without interrupting your meal. The ambiance can be a bit lively when it's crowded, but it's still a good spot for a meal with friends or family.

We enjoyed O.C. long before the July 19 tornado, and missed it for weeks after, but when they reopened, with triple the menu choices and SUSHI IN MARSHALLTOWN, we were hooked and enjoy their food at least once a week! Taylor and her staff provide great service. The sushi rivals what we've enjoyed in DM East Village and Ames. Service is every bit as fast as the feted Jimmy John's delivery. Pick-up is easy. And plans are to restore their gorgeous facade to the pre-1960 grandeur it used to have. If you don't enjoy it there, I may just pay for your dinner. It's that good.
