Stopping for gas in Newton, IA led me to discover Chester's inside a clean and friendly gas station, where the staff's warm hospitality matched the delicious, freshly fried chicken sandwiches. The classic fried chicken sandwich with honey butter and crinkle-cut pickles was fantastic, and the solid mac n cheese and potato wedges made for a satisfying meal worth trying again.

I stopped at Chester's for some gas on my way home to NY, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious fried chicken sandwiches and friendly staff. Even though it's a bit hidden inside the gas station, the food was solid, the place was clean, and I'll definitely be back to try that Buffalo chicken sandwich!

I love their gizzards&livers. Didn't even know they had them until I went to get chicken for dinner. Guess what I got for myself? They are delicious
