Crossing the country, I savored homemade fried chicken with mashed potatoes, slaw, and fresh corn that reminded me of grandma's cooking, while the friendly service made the experience even more memorable. Cozy and rich with history, the basement restaurant inside the Midland Railroad Hotel offered comforting dishes like spaghetti with meatballs, meatloaf, and decadent desserts, all served with warmth and care that made every meal unforgettable.
